The Isle of Wight Distillery has launched their brand new Navy Strength Rum, today!
Partnered up with The National Museum of the Royal Navy and launched on ‘Black Tot Day’, the Isle of Wight Distillery has produced an outstanding new, Navy Strength Rum.
Whether you’re a fan of rum or not, this one will turn you into a long-term rum-lover. HMS Victory Rum is a fine blend of aged Demerara rum from Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica.
Tradition is reflected in the taste as a result of it being rested in oak barrels using an oak stave from the HMS Victory herself, just like how it use to be issued on board naval ships in the 18th century.
With not only a fantastic and unique taste but also a whole lot of history, HMS Victory Rum is something you must try this summer! (With gingerbeer and lime for the perfect summer drink!).
Launched today (31st of July), HMS Victory Rum will be available to buy via the Distillery’s online shop and various nationwide stockists, including the National Museum of the Royal Navy outlets.
Purchasing a bottle will also help towards the ongoing restoration of the HMS Victory, based at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard!
